In 2023 and 2024, OWC took water samples upstream and downstream of Lethbridge to get tested for pesticides. This was part of a Canada-wide pilot project led by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency, and it’s given us new insight into the health of the Oldman River.
