State of the Watershed Workshop | December 1, 2026

Bring your expertise to the table

You’re invited to a structured workshop hosted by the Oldman Watershed Council (OWC) to contribute your valuable and unique perspective to the environmental pillar of our upcoming State of the Watershed assessment.

When: Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026, 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Food and drink will be provided throughout the day.
Where: Galt Museum & Archives (502 1 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1Y4).
Cost: Free of charge; registration required.

This workshop brings together OWC partners and representatives from a wide range of different sectors. Throughout the day, we’ll work through a series of dynamic, small-group discussions to gather your expert feedback about environmental conditions in the Oldman watershed. These structured sessions will also be an opportunity for you to exchange ideas and add your unique and valuable perspective to the governance and engagement dimension of the assessment—directly shaping how this important work unfolds.

The results and insights from the facilitated discussions will be compiled and used to improve and inform the State of the Watershed report.

Your valuable contributions will help OWC understand current knowledge about the watershed and where any gaps exist. Your perspectives will also strengthen the methods OWC uses for this project moving forward. We want to hear from you!
