There are 8 Goals the OWC is addressing, based on extensive stakeholder consultations over quite a period of time. We are currently working on Goal 3: Manage and protect the integrity of headwaters and source waters. This involves moving from PLANNING to ACTION as we continue to liaise with all the stakeholder groups involved.
The OWC is focusing on the Dutch Creek Pilot Project and Engaging Recreationists as our contribution to implementing the HAP (Headwaters Action Plan). We are also coordinating the efforts of our partners to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Our 2016 seasonal Outreach Team have all arrived and are spending the next couple of weeks training. Much of the training today has focused on effective use of social media for outreach and communication. Look for the Outreach team at an OWC event near you!
